Why should I use a Travel Advisor?

Using a travel advisor lets you take a backseat in the vacation planning process, which can get stressful and feel overwhelming at times. I will personally take care of all the required planning and booking so you can focus solely on enjoying your trip.I will use the travel expertise, knowledge, and experience to help you plan your next trip by researching what travel experience would work best for you. What do I need to know about pricing/fees?

For river cruises, ocean cruises and pre-packaged tours, there is no fee for my services; the only thing clients need to pay is the price listed by the supplier (which is just the cruise line, tour provider, etc.). There are no fees with these travel options because I earn commission booking them. However, know I will ALWAYS prioritize finding a tour/cruise which fits your travel interests, needs, and desires best rather than just picking one with the highest commission.For personalized trips, a planning fee is needed to cover the time and effort that goes into the creation process. I love creating a personalized itinerary based around a client's specific interests and desires; finding the right travel destinations, flights, hotels, transfers, and sights for my clients to experience is a top priority for me. By charging a planning fee, I can focus on forging the best trip for my clients without worrying about the time I put into planning it being wasted.The planning fee varies depending on the length of your trip: For trips 1-6 days long the fee is $100, trips 7-13 days long the fee is $200, and trips 14-21 days long the fee is $300 (The fee for trips longer than this will be determined after discussing the trip in more detail). All planning fees must be paid before travel planning can begin, and all planning fees are non-refundable.For booking a flight outside of a personalized/packaged trip, there is a service fee as I don't typically earn commission on them. However, by charging this fee, just know I will be there every step of the way if you need my assistance with any problems that may arise (such as a canceled/delayed flight). The fee price depends on whether the flight is domestic or international: for domestic the fee is $25 per person and for international the fee is $50 per person.For booking a hotel outside of a personalized/packaged trip, there is a service fee of $25 per booking.

What is so special about a personalized trip?

A personalized trip means that you get a customized itinerary shaped around your personal interests and needs and goes to your desired travel destination(s). The proposed itinerary would include flights options, transfer options, possible sights to see, restaurant recommendations, and more. A customized itinerary gives you the chance to experience a unique trip tailored specifically for you, which hopefully results in a very fulfilling and exciting travel experience!

Why would I not just use AI to plan my trip?

While AI might be able to identify popular tourist destinations and sights, it falls well short of understanding things about planning a trip. AI struggles with picking travel destinations that fit well together, choosing the right place to stay for your specific desires, how to actually get from place to place in an efficient manner, etc. On the other side of things, as your Travel Advisor, I will NEVER use AI to plan any trips or make any of my content.
